Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification Required For The Job:
1. For Additional General Manager(Depot) post, the candidates require a degree in the field or discipline of Civil Engineering from a recognised institute or university. The candidates should have minimum 15 years of experience. The candidates should also have experience in execution of pile foundations, framed structures and preparation of tender documents. The candidates with Indian Railways or RITES or IRCON or RVNL background will be preferred.
2. For Senior Deputy General Manager(Depot) post, the candidates should have a degree in the field or discipline of Civil Engineering from a recognised institute or university. The candidates should also have minimum 15 years of experience. The candidates should have experience in execution of pile foundations, framed structures and preparation of tender documents. The candidates who have completed depot in metro will be preferred.
3. For Senior Deputy General Manager(Civil) post, the candidates require a degree in the field or discipline of Civil Engineering from a recognised institute or university. The candidates should have minimum ten years of experience in construction of various civil structures like: viaduct, bridges, piles, piers, pre stressed or post stressed structures and their launching. The candidates having experience in large infrastructure projects or Railway or Metro rail construction will be preferred.
4. For Deputy General Manager(Civil) post, the candidates require a degree in the field or discipline of Civil Engineering from a recognised institute or university. The candidates should have minimum eight years of experience in construction of various civil structures like: viaduct, bridges, piles, piers, pre stressed or post stressed structures and their launching. The candidates having experience in large infrastructure projects or Railway or Metro rail construction will be preferred.
5. For Deputy General Manager(Environment) post, the candidates require a degree in the field or discipline of Civil Engineering or BSc in the field or discipline of Environment Science from a recognised institute or university. The candidates should also have minimum eight years of experience as Environmental expert or Environmental analyst or environmental related fields on infrastructure projects.
6. For Assistant Manager(Civil) post, the candidates require a degree in the field or discipline of Civil Engineering from a recognised institute or university. The candidates should have minimum three years of experience in construction of various civil structures like: viaduct, bridges, piles, piers, pre stressed or post stressed structures and their launching.
7. For Chief Controller post, the candidates should have done graduation in any field or discipline. The candidates should also have at least six years of experience as OCC controller or line supervisor in Metro Rail systems.
8. For Depot Controller post, the candidates should have done graduation in any field or discipline with minimum 2 years or Diploma of three year in any field or discipline with at least four years of experience as Station Controller or Train Operator.
9. For Power Controller post, the candidates require a degree of Diploma in the field or discipline of Electrical Engineering with at least three years of experience in electrical traction or substation. The candidates should also have experience in SCADA systems.
10. For Station Controller or Train Operator post, the candidates should have degree of Diploma of three year in any field or discipline with at least two years of experience as Station Controller or Train Operator.
Age Limit:
1. For Additional General Manager(Civil) post, the candidates' age should not exceed 50 years.
2. For Senior Deputy General Manager(Depot) post, the candidates' age should not be more than 50 years.
3. For Senior Deputy General Manager(Civil) post, the candidates' age should not exceed 47 years.
4. For Deputy General Manager(Civil) post, the candidates' age should not be more than 45 years.
5. For Deputy General Manager(Environment) post, the candidates' age should not exceed 45 years.
6. For Assistant Manager(Civil) post, the candidates' age should not be more than 35 years.
7. For Chief Controller post, the candidates' age should not exceed 45 years.
8. For Depot Controller post, the candidates' age should not be more than 20 years.
9. For Power Controller post, the candidates' age should not exceed 20 years.
10. For Station Controller or Train Operator post, the candidates' age should not be more than 20 years.
The age relaxation for SC or ST or OBC or PWD or Women candidates will be according to Government rules.
