RRB NTPC Syllabus And Post Wise Exam Pattern Announced By Railway Recruitment Board

Examination dates have been announced by Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) for RRB NTPC(Graduate) Examination(CEN No. 03/2015). The examination will held from 31 March, 2016.

Official notification have been released from RRB for 18252 posts in various Non-Technical categories(Graduate Jobs) at Zonal Railways or Production Units via Central Employment Notice 03/2015(CEN No. 03/2015). RRB invited Applications from 26 Dec, 2015 till 25 Jan, 2016.

The examination will start from 31 March, 2016. The details regarding date, time and venue of the examination, aptitude test and skill test have been uploaded by RRB on their official website.

1. For Post Number 01, 02, 03 and 04, the merit will be given on the basis of CBT(Computer Based Test) Exam.

2. For Post Number 05, 06 and 09, the candidates will have to give Typing Skill test after the CBT Exam.

3. For Post Number 07 and 08, the candidates should give Aptitude Test after the CBT Exam.

There will be CBT(Computer Based Test) Exam for all the 09 categories of posts. There will be Multiple Objective type questions in the test and there will be negative marking of 1/3(one third) i.e. for each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The test will held in English, Hindi, Urdu and other local languages. The questions will be related to Arithmetic, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The CBT exam will consist of 100 questions and it will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.

After CBT Exam there will be Skill Typing Test or Aptitude Test according to various posts and document verification. The number of candidates selected for Skill Typing Test or Aptitude Test will be 8 times the number of vacancies.

For making the merit list the marks of Typing Skill Test will not be considered. The candidates should have typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi on PC and the editing tool and spell check facility should be disabled. The candidates should use KrutiDev and Mangal font for Hindi typing test.

30% marks of the marks obtained will be considered for Aptitude Test for the merit list and rest 70% marks will be taken from CBT(Computer Based Test) Exam.
